The new steps of the research process that we have proposed following are:

1. Topic Selection (2 Days)

2. Research Question (1 Day)

3. Annotated Bibliography (1 Day)

4. Source Identification (2 Days)

5. Reading (2 Days)

6. Thesis Statement/ Intro (2 Days)

7. Outline (4-5 Days)

- Vocabulary and grammar will be inserted into these 5 days, allow individual
conferences with students

8. Parenthetical Citation ( ½ Day)

9. Note Taking (3-4 Days)

50 note cards-Option II 30 note cards-Option I

10. Rough Draft- Submit Body Paragraph One (1 Day)

11. Editing and Revision (Days )

12 Final Draft (Days )
